The Graduate

This is my niece, one of many, and one of my favorites. She was born when Hubs and I were still in college. Her graduation from high school means we are old. We are still cool, just old. And cool.

When my niece was 2 years old, she had a toy cash register that included a plastic credit card. I taught her how to say, "Charge it. Don't show me the total." This was a favorite saying of her grandmother, my mother-in-law. I loved it when my mother-in-law said it, but loved it most hearing it come out, "Chawge it. Don show me da toto."

Congratulations Chels. You're on your way to a land of Tidi Nails and the end of "vilence." Rock on!
