I'm looking for homeschooling parents who'd like to be interviewed for an article about homeschooling special-needs children. My own son is diagnosed with Asperger's and Tourette's Syndromes, but also has a relatively high IQ, which makes for a unique set of challeges. I have another friend who homeschools her autistic children. The charter school my daughter uses for her homeschooling curriculum offers, as it should by law, a program for children with IEPs and 504s, which tells me that homeschooling children with special needs is certainly more commonplace than some might think.
If you homeschool a special-needs child (or children), please complete the interview questions below. I cannot guarantee that I will be able to include everyone's answers in the article, depending on the number of responses I receive, but will do my best to represent our segment of the homeschooling population.
