• Waiting for the results of his siblings’ blood samples to see if they have enough matching HLA markers to be donors.


• Waiting to see if he’ll have another round of inpatient chemo (this week, most likely) while we wait for the transplant process to proceed.


• Waiting for kits to arrive for his out-of-town siblings so they can have their blood samples collected for testing.


• Waiting for appointments with social workers, waiting to coordinate housing, waiting to meet with the team at Stanford again, waiting for financial plans to formulate, waiting for the other shoe to drop…


• Waiting.

Waiting is so difficult and for someone use to getting things done it is exhausting. That is just one of the many side effects of cancer. Always waiting.....My thoughts and prayers are with you all, including the siblings that are anxiously 'waiting' to see if they can help.Love and big HugsNancy
