Wanderlust and the Flu

I have that unsettled feeling in my stomach. Well, two actually. One sends me alternately balled up under the covers and racing for the bathroom. The other sends me onto the internet searching for real estate in foreign lands.

The flu.

The wanderlust.

They go hand in, um, hand?

I get The Wanderlust with some predictability, especially since we’ve opted to live in one place for So Damned Long. This is the longest I’ve lived in one house. Ever. In my life. It’s the longest I’ve lived in one town/city/place. In my life.

Makes me nuts every now and then.

Also, the flu.

So, I munch my saltines. Sip my 7-up. Shiver under the covers. Dream of other lands. And sing my song.
